Privacy Policy
How yAI handles personal data and firm information.
Overview
yAI is operated by WhyAI Technologies, Inc. (“yAI,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website (yaihq.com) and to the yAI platform when deployed for customer firms.
Customer firm data
The yAI platform is deployed per tenant directly into the customer firm's Azure or AWS cloud account. Firm data, prompts, retrieval indices, model outputs, and audit logs all reside within the firm's own security perimeter.
We do not use customer firm data to train, fine-tune, or evaluate models. Each tenant runs against its own isolated model endpoint. Model traffic is scoped entirely to the customer tenant; there is no cross-tenant data flow.
Information we collect on this website
When you interact with yaihq.com, we may collect:
- Information you submit through forms (name, work email, firm, role) when you book a demo or contact us.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamps) for security and analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic site functionality.
How we use information
- To respond to demo requests, sales inquiries, and support questions.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To send transactional communications (e.g., demo confirmations, follow-ups).
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers acting on our behalf (e.g., scheduling, email, hosting, analytics) under written agreements that restrict use to providing services to us, and with legal or regulatory authorities when required by law.
Data retention
Website inquiry data is retained while a sales relationship is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping. Customer firm data is retained inside the customer's tenant per the firm's own retention policy. yAI does not control or copy customer tenant data.
Security
The yAI platform deploys into the customer's own cloud tenant, with isolated model endpoints, immutable audit trails designed to support SEC 17a-4 books-and-records requirements, and two-step admin approval for destructive actions. Website data is protected by industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Cookies
We use cookies for basic site functionality and aggregate analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site features.
Children
The yAI platform and yaihq.com are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International transfers
For website data, we may transfer information to and process it in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services and legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to customers directly.
